Mary Schumaker, a secretary and researcher with the Sedalia Public Library, is retiring after 32 years with the library. In the background, work continues on installing framework to stabilize the columns on the front entrance of the library which is closed to the public due to structural problems. The Sedalia Public Library has relocated to the McLaughlin Building, 515 S. Ohio Ave.
