A Johnson County man is in custody pending the filing of formal charges stemming from a pair of assaults Monday night at a Knob Noster trailer park, according to a press release from Knob Noster police.
Knob Noster Police, along with the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Johnson County Sheriff's Office, responded at 11:09 p.m. Monday to a stabbing that occurred in the Lakewood Mobile Home Park in Knob Noster. The victim, Jaray O. Slaughter, 21, of Knob Noster, was transported by medical helicopter with life threatening injuries to Research Hospital in Kansas City, the report stated.
