SFCC celebrates Jingle on the Green
Heckart Funeral Home owner Sue Heckart, left, shares a hug with State Fair Community College President Marsha Drennon on Thursday during a recognition ceremony at the launch of the campus’ fifth annual Jingle on the Green Christmas celebration. Drennon, who will retire in June, was presented with the glass luminaria, bottom left, as well as a Blue Ribbon Vision certificate in recognition of her leadership of the college over the last 10 years. Gallagher, not pictured, chef de gare (commander) of the veterans organization 40 & 8, Voiture 333, was also presented with a Blue Ribbon Vision award Thursday night in honor of his service to area veterans.
