Schools continue to enhance safety

Sedalia 200 district officials continue to make changes and enhancements in efforts to improve safety at all schools.

Assistant Superintendent Brad Pollitt said it has been “kind of a slow process,” but video monitoring systems to go along with “buzz-in” door lock mechanisms should be installed by Nightwatch Security, of Sedalia, by the middle of February at the district’s five elementary schools, the preschool cooperative and the middle school.
