Downtown traffic lights are expected to top the Sedalia City Councilís agenda for a work session Monday.
The council is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the mayorís conference room in City Hall. The meeting is open to the public.
The council is expected to continue its discussion about engineering of downtown traffic lights as part of the streetscape project.
At issue is whether a traffic study is needed in planning light placement. The council previously asked for alternatives to a $50,000 engineering contract, which included a traffic study, engineering work and synchronizing lights.
In other business, the council is expected to discuss a proposed amendment to the firefighterís pension board.
