Fate of junior high sports programs on agenda for Sedalia board of education

Posted: Sunday, April 25, 2010 12:00 am | Updated: 10:35 am, Wed Sep 5, 2012.

The fate of seventh- and eighth-grade athletic programs will be decided upon by the Sedalia School District 200 Board of Education meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the media center at Smith-Cotton High School.

The board heard from several interested community members regarding junior high sports during its April 12 meeting held at Horace Mann Elementary School. People spoke in favor of keeping seventh-grade football with the Sedalia Youth Football League and adding seventh-grade volleyball at the school.
