New Score shows off its trophy Saturday after the competition in Nevada, Mo.

Smith-Cotton choirs compete
All three Smith-Cotton High School show choirs placed Saturday at the Nevada (Mo.) Show Choir Classic. Broadway Velocity placed first in the middle school division. Cabaret placed first out of 10 choirs in the women’s division. The choir took Best Costume of the morning group, and Isabella Skinner received Best Female Vocalist. New Score Singers placed second out of 10 choirs in the large-school division. New Score also took Best Costume. The next competition is Saturday in Carthage.
