Sedalia police officers are requesting charges of making a terrorist threat against a man who allegedly made a threat to bomb a middle school while he was at Hardee’s.

The man, whose name has not been released, allegedly wrote on a comment card “I will bomb the Middle School on 2/14/08,” according to Police Department reports.

A manager at Hardee’s, 1400 S. Limit Ave., found the threatening note Wednesday and reported it to police.

Officers said a witness knew one of two men sitting in the area where the note was found, reports stated.

The charge of making a terrorist threat is a class A misdemeanor, punishable by a prison term of up to a year in prison.
