Pettis County Health Center to continue WIC services in 2011

The Pettis County Health Center announced that a contract to continue to provide WIC services in 2011 has been signed to provide assistance to 1,950 eligible people each month.

According to a news release from the Pettis County Health Center, WIC, the special supplemental food program for woman, infants and children, provides  specific nutritious supplemental foods including milk, eggs, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, beans and peanut butter at no cost.
