Trail's End Committee still trying to 'head 'em up, move 'em out' for cattle drive monument

The Trail’s End Committee used a Thursday evening town hall at the Pettis County Courthouse to crack the whip — literally — behind their effort to erect a monument to Sedalia’s history as a rail and cattle town in the late 1800s.

After a brief introduction By Trail’s End Committee co-chairman Dale Yelton, the crowd was treated to cowboy poetry and a repurposing of the theme to “Rawhide” by Dr. Douglas Kiburz.
