Posted: Tuesday, September 8, 2009 12:00 am | Updated: 9:57 am, Wed Sep 5, 2012.

Two Sedalia residents have been released from Pettis County Jail each on a $100,000 bond after police found a hidden stairwell leading to the basement where 30 marijuana plants were growing.

Jason R. Mandura, 28, and Jennifer L. Marshall, 22, of the 1500 block of South Brown Avenue, were arrested at their home Friday after officers served a search warrant. Each were charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and two counts of manufacture of marijuana near schools.
