Crime is ruled out in death of woman

Police have ruled out a crime in the death of a Sedalia woman.

Detective Sgt. Adam Hendricks said it appears that Tammie L. Jones, 43, died of natural causes. Pettis County Coroner Robert “Skip” Smith said preliminary autopsy results also point to natural causes, but the final determination is pending toxicology and lab tests.
