Seven people suffered injuries in a Sunday afternoon collision in Saline County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at about 2:15 p.m. as 75-year-old Slater resident Milo Chamberlin attempted to make a left turn from state Route 240 onto Route C, pulling into the path of a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Robert Chevalier, of Marshall, and the vehicles collided, troopers reported.
Chevalier, along with passenger Misty Fizer, 26, of Marshall, suffered moderate injuries in the accident and were transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall, according to the Highway Patrol crash report. Four children, ranging from 8 to 12 years old, were hospitalized with minor injuries following the accident.
Chamberlin, who also suffered minor injuries in the wreck, refused medical treatment at the scene.
Troopers reported charges are pending in the ongoing crash investigation.
