Three people, including two incumbents, filed to run for three seats on the Sedalia 200 Board of Education on Tuesday, the first day of the filing period.
Board members Scott Gardner and Ken Coffelt filed to run for re-election in the spring. Both of their terms on the school board will expire in April.
Kenny Perry has also filed as a school board candidate. It will be his fourth time running for a position on the school board.
Board member Jim Waldo, whose term expires in April, would not comment on whether he will run again.
Candidates must file in person at the Sedalia 200 District Office, 2806 Matthew Drive. The filing period ends Jan 22.
