County clerk holds successful voting machine test

Pettis County Clerk Nick La Strada conducted a successful voting machine test on Wednesday as preparations continue for the Nov. 6 general election.

La Strada was joined by Pettis County Collector Marsha Boeschen, a Republican, and Pettis County Democratic Central Committee Chairman Larry Yunt Wednesday morning for a test of the touchscreen and optical scan voting machines to be used in the election, now just 12 days away.
