A female worker was taken to a Columbia hospital Wednesday after an accident at the Tyson Foods plant here.

The woman broke her arm in a conveyer shortly before 4:30 p.m., Gary Mickelson, a Tyson spokesman based in Springdale, Ark., wrote in an e-mail.
