A Warrensburg man was arrested on drug charges after detectives seized marijuana, cash and drug paraphernalia from his apartment.
According to Warrensburg Police Lt. Randy Eich, department detectives and members of the Warrensburg Special Emergency Response Team served a search warrant Jan. 28 at an apartment at 411 Broad St.
During the search, investigators recovered a half-pound of marijuana, $2,764 in cash, a digital scale and several marijuana pipes, according to the police report.
Alec M. Miller, 19, who lived in the apartment, was arrested pending charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Warrensburg police also have requested that the Johnson County prosecuting attorney file a forfeiture action on the cash seized from Millerís apartment under the Missouri Criminal Activity Forfeiture Act.
