Posted: Friday, February 8, 2013 10:45 pm

Pettis County Clerk Nick La Strada has certified ballots for the April 2 municipal election, a contest he describes as “very weird.”

First, he said, of the county’s 19 polling places, only 15 will be open during the election which, will feature school board, council, ambulance district and aldermanic races as well as school levy issues for the La Monte R-IV and Johnson County R-VIII (Knob Noster) school districts, and the Sedalia Public Library bond issue.
