Kaleena Logan, a fifth-grader from Benton County, sold dish cloths during “Show-Me 4-H Wares” at the Missouri State Fair last summer and received 14 orders.

Kaleena is in her second year of 4-H. She has been crocheting for two years under the tutelage of her mother, Sharon, a 4-H volunteer. The girl has made a poncho, headband, flip-flops, pot holder, hair scrunchie, slippers and dish cloths.

Kaleena saved the money she made from filling orders at the fair, and is considering selling her items in the future. Serenna Wright, 4-H Youth program assistant for Benton County, presented Kaleena with a Junior Entrepreneur award.
