Man admits to assault in drunken driving wreck

A Smithton man has been sentenced to 240 days in jail for a second-degree assault that occurred when he was driving intoxicated.

Timothy Smeltser, 42, pleaded guilty before Judge Robert L. Koffman in Pettis County Circuit Court Wednesday.
