An Indiana man was taken to the hospital after his vehicle was struck by a car on Interstate 70 in Saline County, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
William L. Wires, 79, of Bedford, Ind., was taken by ambulance to I-70 Medical Center in Sweet Springs, troopers reported. Wires was admitted to the hospital, then treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
