Law Day cases for Feb. 6

The following cases were heard on the Feb. 6 Law Day docket, according to Pettis County Prosecuting Attorney Jeff Mittelhauser:

• Joshua Collins, 32, of Sedalia, pleaded guilty to unlawful use of a weapon and domestic assault in the second degree. The defendant admitted he threatened one person with a sharpened screwdriver and assaulted his girlfriend. Execution of a four-year sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on probation for five years with requirements that he serve 10 days of shock detention, have no contact with the victims, and perform 120 hours of community service work.
