A year ago, MFA Oil Company provided the seed money for a covered arena annex for the Coliseum on the Missouri State Fairgrounds. On Aug. 16, ground will be broken to plant that seed.
Wednesday night, during the seventh annual “Building the Future” dinner and auction, Missouri State Fair Foundation Executive Director Wendy Faulconer announced that while fundraising is not complete, ground will be broken to signal the start of construction.
