Sedalia crime rate drops in 2009 Democrat staff sedaliademocrat.com

Following the national trend, the Sedalia Police Department saw a 9.44 percent decrease in the number of crimes reported in 2009.

According to the department’s 2009 annual report, assaults, burglaries, motor vehicle thefts, arsons, thefts and sexual battery reports decreased since 2008.
