Sedalia school assemblies aim to educate students about consequences of sexting

Cyber safety was the topic of discussion during a morning assembly held Tuesday at Smith-Cotton Junior High.

Assistant Superintendent Brad Pollitt said the assemblies began Monday and will continue through the week for students in grades seven through 12. The main focus of the assemblies is to inform students about appropriate Internet usage.
