Two injured in U.S. 65 crash

Two people suffered minor injuries Monday afternoon in a collision on U.S. Highway 65 in Pettis County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.



Terry L. Jantz, 51, of Warsaw, and Timothy E. Poole, 40, of Cameron, were transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center following the accident.



Troopers reported the accident happened shortly before 3:30 p.m. Monday at U.S. Highway 65 and North Grand Avenue. Jantz, who was driving west on U.S. 65, failed to yield to and struck Poole’s southbound vehicle, according to the Highway Patrol crash report.



Troopers reported charges were pending in the ongoing crash investigation.
