Martin White named new principal of high school

Posted: Wednesday, February 13, 2008 12:00 am | Updated: 8:55 am, Wed Sep 5, 2012.

Sedalia Middle School Principal Martin White has been named principal of Smith-Cotton High School, one of several administrative changes planned in preparation for the opening of the new high school.

“We wanted to get the new principals in place so they could start working on their buildings,” Bradley Pollitt, Sedalia schools assistant superintendent in charge of personnel, said Wednesday. Pollitt said the moves would give administrators time for a smoother transition, allowing them to be better prepared when the new buildings open.
