The Sedalia Bombers kept winning at the National Baseball Congress World Series in Wichita, Kan., beating Derby (Kan.) 2-0 on Tuesday.
Sam Perez pitched a complete game, allowing six hits and striking out six.
The Bombers managed three hits in the game, but took advantage of six walks by Derby pitchers. Walks and a ground out led to the Bombers first run of the game in the second inning. A walk and a hit-by-pitch led to the Bombers’ second run.
The Bombers will advance to Championship Week with a win today.
