A Bates City man was injured Saturday when his motorcycle hit a cow in Johnson County.

Roger D. Trimble, 47, was taken by ambulance to Centerpoint Medical Center. He was no longer at the hospital Monday afternoon, said a hospital spokeswoman.

Trimble was southbound on Route Z at 10:50 p.m., less than a mile south of state Route TT near Harrisonville, when he hit the cow, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
