Three Sedalia men charged in robbery of Benton County home
Three Sedalia men have been arrested after allegedly robbing a house Monday in Benton County.
According to a news release from the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, early Monday morning, the victim was at her home in northeastern Benton County when she was awakened by a person who had a gun to her head. The victim stated that the suspects took her wallet and a box of jewelry and left the home. She also said she saw two men in the home and heard them leave in a vehicle a short time later.
Later that evening, a deputy was working a different theft in the same area and stopped four people in a vehicle after a short chase. An investigation determined the people in the vehicle may have been involved in the robbery earlier that morning, the release stated.
Brandon L. Nodine, 17, Dustin D. Dillon, 17, and Kyle W. Wissman, 22, were arrested and charged with robbery in the first degree, burglary in the first degree, armed criminal action and felonious restraint.
Nodine, Dillon and Wissman are being held at the Benton County Jail in lieu of a $175,000 bond each.
