Sedalia Police Department
11:02 p.m.: A business in the 2400 block reported receiving a check signed by someone not on the account.
11:06 a.m.: Police assisting a girl whose foot was caught in the spokes of a bicycle was reported in the 700 block of East Boonville Street.
12:41 p.m.: Fraudulent use of a debit card was reported in the 1000 block of South Murray Avenue.
2:01 p.m.: Receipt of harassing phone calls and text messages from an ex-girlfriend was reported in the 2400 block of West Broadway Boulevard.
4:13 p.m.: A fraud case where a person lost a total of $1,950 was reported in the 100 block of East Saline Street. The victim sold items valued at $1,000 online and the buyer sent a $1,950 check. The buyer asked for $950 back and the victim sent it. The $1,950 check sent by the buyer was a bad check.
4:19 p.m.: Child abuse was reported in the 900 block of East Fifth Street. The boyfriend of the child’s mother allegedly slapped a 4-year-old, leaving a bruise.
4:39 p.m.: A purse was found in the 200 block of West Second Street.
5:20 p.m.: A window was reported broken at a residence in the 100 block of East 11th Street.
6:19 p.m.: A juvenile stealing money and running away was reported in the 300 block of McAnally Court.
8:06 p.m.: Theft of several undisclosed items from a house was reported in the 300 block of McAnally Court.
12:51 a.m.: A verbal disturbance was reported at a fast-food restaurant in the 800 block of South Limit Avenue.
7:39 a.m.: Theft of an undisclosed amount of fuel from a business was reported in the 3100 block of South Limit Avenue.
Pettis County Sheriff’s Office
12:16 p.m.: Several farm animals becoming ill, due to what the owner believed was the effect of a poison, was reported in the 23000 block of Mahin Road.
4:09 p.m.: A mailbox damaged by an explosive was reported in the 13000 block of South Fork Road.
4:39 p.m.: Two Walnut trees cut down without the owners permission was reported in the 10000 block of state Route B.
Missouri State Hwy. Patrol
10:20 a.m.: Ryan J. Knudtson, 21, of Lawrence, Kan., was arrested in Saline County on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
