Sedalia Police Department


Aug. 16

6:07 p.m.: A motor vehicle license plate was found near the intersection of U.S. Highway 65 and West 16th Street.

Aug. 17

11:29 p.m.: After two victims reported being chased by a suspect in the 1300 block of South Limit Avenue, police located the assailant who abandoned his vehicle and fled on foot. Police are currently seeking his whereabouts after discovering drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.

Aug. 18

8:41 a.m.: Jewelry was reported stolen from a residence in the 1100 block of West Fourth Street.

10:03 a.m.: A wallet was reported stolen in the 2500 block of West 16th Street.

1:04 p.m.: A broken window and damaged screen door were reported in the 2600 block of South Grand Avenue.

Missouri State Hwy. Patrol

Aug. 17

9:24 p.m.: Renee M. Strotkamp, 45, of Barnett, was arrested in Morgan County on a charge of boating while intoxicated and failing

Aug. 18

1:36 a.m.: Ryan T. Slater, 31, of Warsaw, was arrested in Benton County on charges of driving while intoxicated and failing to display navigational lights.
