Arrests


July 16


1:49 p.m.: Benjamin O. Laney, 30, of Marshall, was arrested in the 900 block of West Sixth Street on a charge of driving with a suspended license.


7:01 p.m.: Tyler J. Evans, 19, of Belton, was arrested in the 1300 block of West 16th Street on charges of second-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.


8:20 p.m.: Kaleb T. Krumroy, 22, of the 400 block of West Prospect Avenue, was arrested near the intersection of East 10th Street and Ohio Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.


Incidents


July 16


9:42 a.m.: An assault was reported in the 3100 block of South Limit Avenue.


11:25 a.m.: Theft of a check was reported in the 400 block of East Fifth Street.


2:42 p.m.: Property destruction was reported at an unoccupied home in the 1500 block of South Moniteau Avenue, which had graffiti spray-painted on the garage and several windows were broken.


6:29 p.m.: An assault was reported in the 2200 block of South Grand Avenue.


8 p.m.: Harassment was reported in the 1800 block of South Park Avenue.


9:34 p.m.: Theft of a cell phone, valued at $15, was reported in the 600 block of East 14th Street.

Arrests


July 17


Steven B. Hickey, 25, of California, Mo., was arrested in Moniteau County on charges of speeding, driving with a revoked license and possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana.
