Boonville man injured when car hits I-70 guardrail

A Boonville man received minor injuries in a vehicle accident at 8:06 p.m. Wednesday in Saline County.

David H. Siekman, 60, was driving east on Interstate 70 at the 76.8 mile marker when he drove off the right side of the road and hit the guardrail, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Siekman, who was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, was taken to Boone Hospital by ambulance for his injuries, the report indicates.
