California, Mo., man gets six years for Internet porn
JEFFERSON CITY — A California, Mo., man was sentenced to in federal court Friday for downloading child pornography over the Internet, said U.S. Attorney John F. Wood, of the Western District of Missouri.
Jesse Aaron Lipe, 26, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Nanette K. Laughrey to six years federal prison without parole. The court also ordered Lipe to forfeit to the government an 80-gigabyte computer hard drive and a Dell computer that were used to commit the violations.
On Sept. 21, Lipe pleaded guilty to attempting to transport child pornography over the Internet, receiving child pornography over the Internet and being in possession of child pornography.
This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the State Technical Assistance Team and the California, Mo., Police Department.
