Lincoln man dies after golf cart overturns
A 50-year-old Lincoln man died Monday after rolling a golf cart in Benton County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
Tommy A. Morrison, 50, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident at 10:25 a.m. by Benton County Coroner Jim Miller, according to the Highway Patrol crash report. The time of the accident was unknown.
Troopers reported Morrison was driving the golf cart on Waters Edge Road, just south of Curve Street, when the vehicle began to skid, struck an embankment and overturned, ejecting Morrison. The golf cart came to a rest on its right side on top of Morrison, troopers reported.
