Woman hurt in 2-vehicle collision

A Sedalia woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision Thursday in Pettis County.

Susan J. Comfort, 37, was transported by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center. 

The incident occurred at 12:45 p.m. as Bradley J. Edwards, 18, of Sedalia, was attempting to turn north at 10th Street onto Thompson Boulevard in Sedalia. Edwards’ vehicle hit Comfort, who was driving southbound in the inside lane of Thompson Boulevard, according to Sedalia Police Department reports. 

Edwards was not injured in the collision and both drivers were wearing seat belts.
