Comments 0 | Recommend 0

The Pettis County Commission on Tuesday opened bids on a new belly-dump trailer for the Road and Bridge Department and approved bids for two new computer hard drives for the county.

The commission received a single bid for the trailer. AT&S of Lincoln, Neb., sent a bid for $30,600, with a tarp option for an additional $2,600.

It also approved a bid for hard drives from Central Communication Service Co. of Sedalia. Central Communication’s bid of $3,281 for two hard drives was lower than Precision Computer’s bid of $3,798, also for two hard drives, and Lamm Technical Resources bid of $1,882 for one hard drive.

Also at the meeting, the commission signed an agreement to take over the roads for West Country Club Estates and signed a right-of-way maintenance agreement with Eldon Rieckhoff for property on Hoffman Road in southern Pettis County.
