The Henry County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday assisted the Kansas City Police Department in the recovery of a large quantity of stolen goods, a stolen trailer and a stolen vehicle.
Dalen R. Miller, 45, of Lee’s Summit, was arrested on charges of possession of stolen property.
Law enforcement officers investigated Miller’s residence at 1371 NW 750 Road, just north of Urich. While on the property, officers observed in plain view several stolen items from a burglary in Kansas City, including a large box trailer.
After obtaining a search warrant to investigate the rest of the property, officers recovered an additional stash of stolen property from vehicles, sheds, and inside the home. A stolen Chevrolet truck was also discovered during the search.
Miller was questioned and released, pending further investigation.
