Wellington woman hurt in Lafayette County

A 20-year-old Wellington woman was injured in Lafayette County on Friday morning when her vehicle ran off the road, the Missouri Highway Patrol said.


Katy M. Blaha was taken to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence. The hospital had no information on her Friday night.


Her vehicle was westbound on Missouri 224 about 9:50 a.m. just east of U.S. 24 when it ran off the road and hit an embankment.
