Knob Noster men hurt in crash

Two Knob Noster residents were hurt Thursday in a single-vehicle crash in Johnson County.

Matthew P. Horseman, 23, was taken by air ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

Anthony L. Loackard, 20, went by ambulance to Research Medical Center in Kansas City. Their conditions were not immediately available Friday.

The crash happened when Loackard ran off the road while avoiding a deer about 9:40 p.m. on Missouri 23. Loackard’s vehicle, in which Horseman was a passenger, hit an embankment and overturned.
