3 Green Ridge residents injured in Pettis County crash

Three Green Ridge residents were injured in a single-vehicle crash in Pettis County on Saturday night.

According to a report form the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 10:25 p.m. on state Route E at Dove Road when a vehicle driven by Travis Ransdell, 29, went off the left side of the roadway and struck a ditch.

Ransdell and passenger Ventura Castillo, 19, suffered minor injuries in the crash. Passenger Joe Turner, 15, suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Turner and Castillo were wearing seat belts, but Ransdell was not, the Highway Patrol reported.

An investigation into the crash continues and charges are pending, the report states.
