Knob Noster man taken to hospital after crash

A Knob Noster man was taken by air ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia on Thursday following a two-vehicle crash in Johnson County.

Harold D. Ortiz, 39, was injured in the crash, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports. His condition was not immediately available.

The crash happened at 8:55 p.m. about three-tenths of a mile west of state Route FF when a vehicle driven by Sharon K. Lowman, 61, of Sedalia, ran into the rear of Ortiz’s vehicle on U.S. 50.
