Cole Camp woman in serious condition after crash

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

A two-vehicle crash in Henry County sent a man and a woman to hospitals.

Sarah J. Crider, 25, of Cole Camp, and Jared T. Speckman, 19, of Savannah, were injured in the crash, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports. Crider was airlifted to Research Medical Center and Speckman was taken to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.

Crider was in serious condition Friday morning, a hospital spokeswoman said. Golden Valley does not give out patient condition.

The crash happened at 2:50 p.m. when the westbound Crider ran off the right side of the road while on a curve on Missouri 52 about a mile east of County Road Northeast 981, reports stated. She overcorrected and crossed the center line, colliding with Speckman’s vehicle before both vehicles ran off the road.
