This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Oct. 16

3:26 a.m.: Irving A. Martin, 32, of the 200 block of East Sixth Street in Sedalia, was arrested in the 200 block of East Sixth Street, and charged with domestic assault in the second degree.

11:15 a.m.: Kalynn Michelle Halderman, 20, of the 1400 block of Air Park Road in Sedalia, was arrested at West Broadway Boulevard near Warren Avenue on a charge of driving with while suspended.

Oct. 15

10:38 a.m.: Donald Allen Brown, 41, of the 1200 block of East Sixth Street in Sedalia, was arrested in the 1200 block of East Sixth Street on a charge of domestic assault in the third degree.

11 a.m.: Curtis L. Jackson, 46, of the 700 block of East Fifth Street, was arrested on East Fifth Street near Thompson Avenue on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

1:35 p.m.: Robert D. Puckett, 24, of Sedalia was arrested on East Fourth Street near New York Avenue on three charges of tampering of a motor vehicle after Sedalia Police investigators allegedly found Puckett in the possession of three vehicles that had been reported stolen.

10:38 p.m.: Jalene Lea Black, 24 and John Phillip Williams, 42, of the 2000 block of East Ninth Street were each arrested on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child in the second degree in the 2000 block of East Ninth Street after an investigation by the Department of Family services investigated and found the living environment of the home a danger to the children in the home. According to the police report, Black was nine months pregnant and found to have traces of methamphetamine in her system when tested. The children were placed in the custody of the Division of Family Services.

Oct. 15

4 p.m.: Amber Mills, age unknown, was arrested in the 4500 block of South Limit Avenue on a charge of stealing.
