Car strikes SUV in rear, passenger hurt
A Sweet Springs woman was taken by ambulance to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident in Sedalia, according to Sedalia Police Department reports.
Francies E. Dierker, 87, was treated and released from Bothwell Regional Health Center, said a hospital spokeswoman.
The accident happened at 3:22 p.m. Thursday on West Broadway Boulevard near South Moniteau Avenue. A sport utility vehicle driven by Christopher L. Washausen, 26, of Sedalia, slowed for traffic and was struck in the rear by a car driven by Pamela A. Dierker, 57, of Sweet Springs.
Pamela Dierker slowed, but was unable to stop, reports stated. Francies Dierker was a passenger in Pamela Dierker’s car.
