The state recommended a two-year sentence and the case was continued to March 1 for sentencing.
• Colton Ditton, 19, of Sedalia, was ordered to serve a four-year sentence when his probation was revoked. Ditton was placed on probation a year ago after pleading guilty to possession of a controlled substance. His probation was revoked because he used marijuana and consumed alcohol. The court ordered a sentencing assessment report and scheduled a sentencing hearing for April 2.
• Jeffrey Hazelrigg, 35, of Sedalia, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia in connection with an April 14 arrest. Sedalia Police officers and Pettis County Sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant to Hazelrigg’s home at 2004 E. Ninth St. to look for stolen property. No stolen property was recovered, but officers located used syringes and methamphetamine residue. Execution of a 180-day jail sentence was suspended and Hazelrigg was placed on probation for two years with requirements that he serve 48 hours in jail as shock detention and perform 80 hours of community service work.
