TOP: From left, Callie Smith, Emma Pettigrew and Anna Parent perform the choreographed dance to “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.” There was even a special apperance by the character himself, portrayed by one of the students. The SMS music department’s holiday concert is at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Monday for sixth grade, and at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Tuesday for fifth grade.


MIDDLE: Sixth-grader Cora Sadler gives a solo performance of “Do You Have Room?” during the Showstoppers’ Christmas tour on Tuesday. Sadler alternated with another soloist on each of the tour stops, which included the Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center, Winchester Meadows, Sedalia Senior Center, the Noonday Optimist Club, and E.W. Thompson State School.
