Olivia Tsipan, the daughter of Eduard and Adriana Tsipan, of Sedalia, was the first baby born at Bothwell Regional Health Center in 2014. She was born at 7:54 a.m. Jan. 1, weighing 7 pounds, 9 ounces.
Eduard is an automotive technician at Expert Tire and Adriana is a pharmacy technician at BRHC. “We’re getting used to the fact that there’s three of us instead of two now,” Eduard said.
The proud parents have had many family visitors, and the new family will be headed home today. The couple said they’ve been prepared for about a month, “like all first-time parents.”
“She’s a blessing,” Adriana said. “She’s a beautiful baby.”
