Look out below! Connor Thorp, 4, jumps from the slide while his mother Sara Thorp, of Houstonia, works on paperwork. Thorp said her boys, Connor and brother Cale, attend pre-school on opposite days, so she brings Connor on Tuesdays and Cale on Wednesdays. “The boys love coming here,” she said. “It burns off some energy.”

Little Cayden Jett, 2, seems to say, “Well grandma should I take the chance or not?” as he sits perched atop a slide. He came to the play park with his grandmother Carolyn Knowles, of Sedalia. “We just found out about this place in the winter,” she said. “We’ve been very glad to have it, it helps him to play with others.”
